Kennedy Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program student, Manta always enjoyed playing soccer in his home country of Nigeria. When he was selected for a year-long exchange program to the United States of Ameria, he hoped to continue his passion for the game in his host community of Mercer County, Illinois. Unfortunately, his host school did not have a soccer team. In efforts to learn the American culture and continue his passion for the game, Manta used his skills to try out for the school's football team.
