Feb 11 2010 / Host Family Video Contest Winners!

The decisions were not easy, but we have now selected 10 finalists from the close to 50 videos submitted by host families and their students! The finalists will travel to Washington DC in March for a special recognition event.

We would like to thank every host family who submitted a video and congratulate our finalists. What a wonderful contest this has been! While our entries demonstrated so many different aspects of the hosting experience, the one shared by all was the special bond between host families and their hosted sons and daughters. We celebrate all of you!

Thank you for your sentiments, good humor, viewpoints and creativity and most of all, for making exchange programs possible. In the weeks and months ahead, we hope these videos will inspire new families to host and look forward to sharing your creations with others.
