Nov 23 2009 / Spirit of YES on Display during Interfaith Program
On November 18, YES students from Kenya and Indonesia led an interfaith program at a synagogue in Maryland. Mundir, from Kenya, and Indra and Nastasia from Indonesia, all hosted in the DC area, spoke about “A Day in the Life of a Muslim”, including Islam’s 5 daily prayers as well as major Islamic holidays.
