It has been seven months from the day when I left home, and these days have flown by like crazy! Like every other exchange student, I was really excited about my exchange, but also nervous. And now I'm realizing how fast the time goes by!  I left my home to go to another corner of the world where I found my second home.

I have met a bunch of exchange students from different countries, and that makes me feel close to the world. It's amazing being from all different countries how close we all are to each other, sharing cultures and connecting lives this is when the impact of exchanges hits you really hard! We made unforgettable memories together. It's so surprising when people you never thought you'd meet become a crucial part of your life.

I have had the best time with my friends. Last month we went to Oregon for a ski trip. My first snow was an intercultural experience indeed! Also hats off to the amazing AFS volunteers who have been there for us every time.

I can definitely say it’s the best decision I've made so far and nobody can ever take these memories, experiences and the people away!
