PANELIST:
Nida Dossa is the Project Manager for Higher and Vocational Education at the British Council in UAE. She previously worked for the British Council in Pakistan for seven years, managing national  projects and events on higher education and arts. As an alumna, Nida has lead many community projects on health, literacy, peace building, human rights, and skill building workshops. She completed the YES exchange from 2004-2005. Her interests include Sufi devotional literature and the influence of arts and heritage on community development. 

Upon returning for his YES exchange experience in 2004-2005, Divan Vasudeven began his legal studies at Cardiff University. After graduating and traveling extensively in the Middle East, Divan commenced his legal career and has practiced civil litigation for the past three years. As an alumnus, Divan volunteers regularly and currently serves as the Director on the Board of AFS Malaysia. He strongly believes in the power of travel to learn about one self and the world, and looks forward to driving dynamic and impactful change in the future.

FACILITATOR:
Meena Roldan Oberdick is an alumna of the YES Abroad program and spent a year in Mali in 2012. During her exchange year she attended a Malian high school, honed her French, and participated in community service projects. Upon her return, the Ohio native began her undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations at Columbia University in New York City.
