Abdulaziz reflects on the highlights from serving as a mentor for CEW.

During international education week, as a cultural ambassador I was introducing students from Roosevelt High School about my culture. Most students and teachers didn't know about Lebanon and by the end of the presentation had an idea about Lebanese daily life, and how beautiful Lebanon is.
Most importantly, people don't have the idea of Lebanon as a war territory. In the presentation I talked about Lebanon's geography, climate, spoken languages, education, society, leisures, families, food and touristic sites. I also shared about my AFS experience as an exchange student.
After the presentation many students started their plan on studying abroad, after I told them briefly about my experience they wanted to live that too. Being an exchange student is one best part of my life and I am glad more people want to go study abroad.
