In Thailand, many high school students in rural areas lack information on and access to resources on higher education. Without this kind of support, many students in rural areas don’t go on to university. To help address these issues, six alumni organized “Road to University,” an initiative that provided 60 high school students from rural areas with information on higher education and inspiration to pursue a university degree. The alumni team brought together university staff from different fields and subject areas to meet with students at the Palm Pattanawit school, provide them with educational resources, and answer their questions.
