As part of the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program's 10th Anniversary close-out celebration, alumni in Jordan opened their “YES Alumni Projects Exhibition” on December 3rd.

Representatives from the U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Section along with Jordanian YES alumni and AMIDEAST staff attended the exhibition, which will run throughout the month of December at the AMIDEAST office in Amman. This will give hundreds of visitors the opportunity to learn more about the program.

During the exhibition open house, YES alumni were able to share their past, present and future planned projects with U.S. embassy staff and other guests. This also turned out to be a great reunion and networking event.

So far, more than 220 Jordanians have spent a year in the United States since the 2003 launch of the YES exchange program. The alumni hope to double this number over the next 10 years!
