"The United States of America." It's the dream of every person to go there and enjoying living in the differences.  Some years ago I could only dream about America, but that dream came true.  I have a chance to live a different life with many opportunities, and I will do my best so that it will be the best year of my life.  I am the luckiest person in the world and I think that I was born under the happy star because the most important reason why I am here is to learn many things and to make changes when I come back to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I had been selected to participate in the Better Understanding for a Better World conference this year in Orlando, FL.  I had an amazing time, and this was one of the best experiences I have had in the United States.  Now I have very good friends from all over the world.

The conference was very educational.  We talked about problems around the world, about different cultures, world relations, issues, in fact really getting a better understanding for a better world.  Some of the many reasons why we were there were to make this world a better place for everybody, to help people who need it and to make changes in the world.

We also went to Walt Disney World, and we loved it.  Words cannot describe that place - it is a magical, educational place, you just have to see it!  We went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, we took pictures with Disney characters and we were enchanted with magic for four amazing days.

One of the many conclusions that I have developed is that it is very important to understand a society.  First we have to study the historical events in the areas of sociology, economy, politics, religion and how they emerged and developed.  I have been preparing for involvement in world issues for a long time and how an individual can make huge differences.  In Bosnia and Herzegovina, women are not engaged in politics enough and I want to be well informed, which is the purpose of my education - to become a successful woman who will make changes.

We have to work very hard to make a positive difference in the world and stop human suffering.  That day will come, I am sure!  The day when everything is going to happen just the way it should be and just the way we have always dreamed.
