Although YES alumna Sari Shbeta (‘06) has been busy with university studies, she still continues to give back to her community. As a member of a student group called “Campus for All” at Hebrew University, Sari lends a helping hand in the organization of academic and non-academic activities for the university’s student body. Sari is also a member of the “Tira Academics Union,” founded in her hometown of Tira, which provides counseling and guidance for high school students preparing for university study.  Sari is also a participate in the nonprofit group “Belonging and Giving,” which was created with the goal of raising scholarship funds for underprivileged high school students to attend college.
