Esther Zilevu from Ghana is the YES Student of the Month
The "Pixels & Purpose" workshop, led by Muksin III "Jiro" H. Ibrahim, ‘15 and supported by alumni Loren Bhe O. Cocce '16, Vincent A. Malit '18, Kwin Hazel C. Revillo '15, Jan Art Serna '16, Creschel G. Asma '16 and Noryanah B. Facundo '18, recently concluded its successful run in Palawan, Philippines. This initiative provided representatives from various organizations with essential skills in graphic design and social media management.
The program focused on empowering student leaders and organizational representatives to use visual communication and a strategic online presence to more effectively advocate for their causes and leave a lasting impact on society. Throughout the day-long workshop, participants engaged in hands-on activities and insightful discussions guided by experienced professionals, immersing themselves in the art of branding and digital storytelling.
A total of 50 individuals participated, representing a diverse array of 27 organizations and schools. John Rj M. The impact of the Pixels & Purpose workshop extends beyond the confines of the event itself, as participants emerge equipped with newfound skills and confidence to amplify their organizations' voices.
