Offre Joie is a NGO that assists rebuild area's in Achrafieh, Lebanon that were afflicted by explosions. In October 2012, a devastating terrorist explosion left many homeless. Offre Joie called for volunteers and YES alumni answered the call. On December 8, 2012, YES alumni in Lebanon volunteered for one day to help restore the neighborhood. YES Alumni Lebanon volunteered to help rebuild the Achrafieh neighborhood and reconstruct buildings that were affected . Several duties were given to the alumni, such as scrubbing walls, transporting glass boards, cleaning and getting rid of wreck. Fourteen YES alumni left the construction site feeling happy that they were able to take a step forward to help the people who lost their homes.
