International Education Week was a great highlight in my exchange year as I had the opportunity to present my country Jordan in ten presentations. On November 17, I gave nine presentations at Gerber Catholic School. For each class, from Kindergartners to eighth graders, I spoke about Jordan, and I loved how they enjoyed learning about traditional Jordanian dance, and Jordan’s government. 

My presentations were well received by the students, and they wrote me lots of thank you cards with drawings of the historical sites in Jordan and us performing the traditional dance. On November 21, I presented to my student government class about Jordan, and they were also enjoyed learning about the traditions and rich culture in Jordan. The most special feeling of all, was knowing that I came all the way to California to represent Jordan.
