Before YES students from Gaza, West Bank, and Jordan returned home, they took the time to sit down with members of the U.S. State Department Public Affairs team and talk about their exchange experiences. During their interviews, the seven YES students discussed everything from what it was like to be a Muslim exchange student, to how much fun they had with their host families; however, the one thing they all agreed on was that their year in the United States was a life-changing experience!
