Çisem Kaço from Türkiye is the YES Student of the Month
By Muhammad Nadeem, YES Pakistan, 2011-2012
“Education for Everyone” is a one and a half month long project about education.
In Balochistan, most of the students give up school after 10th grade because they don’t have further guidance.
To solve this issue, I applied for the “2014 YES Alumni Grants Award Competition,” which is funded by American Councils.
I got the scholarship, and YES Alumni organized a workshop.
The first phase of project was completed today with the trip to Hanna Lake.
During the first and second day of my project, we gave guidance to all the students on what they can chose in the future.
I saw inspiration in the eyes of the kids after the completion of two days of workshops.
The third day was our trip to Hanna Lake, which was successful, and the students got some time for fun after two days of hard work.
I will post again about further activities of my project as it goes on, and please take a look at the photos below.
Thanks to YES for giving me this great opportunity, so I can work for my community.
