Each year, dozens of youth from the West Bank and Gaza spend a year in the United States through the YES Program. When they return home, Palestinian YES alumni are giving back to their communities despite enormous challenges.

Adam Streeter is an American who lived in Ghana in 2009 as part of the YES Abroad program. He recently spent an extended period in the West Bank to experience Palestinian culture and study Arabic. While there, Adam joined the local YES alumni in many activities and made a video documenting an outsider’s perspective on the Palestinian YES alumni network and the special challenges they face.

Adam's documentary includes interviews with YES alumni in the West Bank and Gaza and a number of community service projects implemented by YES alumni in the West Bank.
