Workshop dates: December 8-12, 2022 (arrival on Dec. 7)

This workshop will provide YES alumni with the skills and tools necessary to develop change-making projects relevant to their communities using the United Nations SDG’s as a framework.

During this workshop, alumni will engage in various challenges and activities to broaden their way of thinking about changemaking in the African context, strengthen and discover their changemaking abilities, and develop projects that will benefit their communities. Participants will be guided through basic principles of social entrepreneurship and project management such as design thinking, storytelling, budgeting, and fundraising.

The workshop will include site visits to local NGO’s plus a cultural excursion.

YES alumni in good standing from the following countries are eligible to apply: Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia.

Alumni with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
