Al Khamaiyasi Kulthoom Oman Jisser 2015 Yes Alumni Grants Funded Project

New extended deadline of March 1, 2017!

American Councils for International Education is pleased to announce the 2017-2018 YES Alumni Grants program. The YES Alumni Grants program assists with YES alumni and YES Abroad alumni initiatives through funding by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and is administered by American Councils for International Education.

The grants are available to alumni to support community service projects in areas such as:

- interfaith dialogue

- conflict resolution

- entrepreneurship

- public health

- environment

- inclusion of people with disabilities

- women’s and girls’ empowerment

- promotion of English language and American culture

The grants program has enabled alumni to contribute to social, economic, and civic development through projects of their own design in their countries. Alumni of educational programs abroad often have a global perspective, leadership skills, and initiative required to make positive contributions upon their return home.
