Rada Lazarova, YES 2016-2017 Bulgaria, hosted by PAX in Neenah, WI, has had a life changing experience on the YES program! Her time in the U.S. has changed her perspectives about the world, and now she is ready to bring about positive change in her community back home in Bulgaria. One of the issues she would like to address is minority rights. In order to create mutual understanding and combat stereotypes back home, Rada has begun organizing virtual exchanges between her American friends and classmates, and her Bulgarian peers.
