Building on the platform of the “Town Interview with Bangladeshi Youth” which Secretary of State Hillary Clinton participated in during her recent visit, the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka partnered with Desh TV to produce a monthly program caled “A Conversation with Bangladesh”.

On October 4, 2012, YES Alumni were invited to represent Bangladeshi youth, and share their opinion on "U.S. Elections and Democracy" on the talk show. Two American guesst from Embassy, Joanna Schenke and Raj Sriram, also joined the conversation.

Alumni and guests raised, discussed and shared their opinions on the U.S. election and democratic process in the U.S.; its root levels; purpose of the presidential debates; role of transparency in building fair and free elections; and young Americans participation and attitude towards election. YES alumni also shared their thoughts on young Bangladeshi’s attitude and views about election.
