A Fundraiser for Gaza

YES alumnus Ahmed Salem '12 gets his face painted for a cause!
Earlier this summer, alumni in Yemen coordinated a fundraiser at Al-Nasr Park in support of the people of Gaza. The event consisted of various activities, which included a food drive, a play, and the narration of stories about Palestine. Fun entertainment was also on the agenda, which involved face painting and singing.
Alumni raised $125.00, which was sent to the YES alumni in Gaza to provide support for families in need. Over 100 people participated in the event and enjoyed the activities; they were happy to donate money for the cause. This fundraiser was also designed to help raise awareness about the importance of humanitarianism.
