Amideast is excited to announce the Gulf Regional Alumni Association Launch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia! This workshop will bring together YES alumni from the Persian Gulf region to design and launch a new regional alumni association.

All participants will travel to Saudi Arabia from April 25 – 28 to learn key skills around goal setting, brainstorming new alumni activities and association structure, project management, networking, and report writing.

Up to 15 alumni will also be selected for the special role of GCC Alumni Leader. These leaders will participate in four virtual sessions to prepare for the in-person workshop starting in March, plus two follow-on meetings in May and June. The Alumni Leaders will work together to develop the new alumni association, design an alumni association charter, and learn skills around teambuilding, inclusive leadership, strategic planning, and volunteer management.

At the in-person component in April in Riyadh, the GCC Alumni Leaders will assist Amideast staff to carry out the workshop for up to 60 additional regional alumni.

YES alumni in good standing from the following countries are eligible to apply:
