On October 10-11, YES Thailand alumni collaborated with alumni of other US government exchanges, such as YSEALI, to organize and implement a leadership workshop for 40 middle school children at an Islamic school in Phuket.  

The alumni facilitated sessions that guided students, from increased self-knowledge to understanding of global events, building empathy, and unleashing their creativity to take local action. The group was honored to be joined by Ms. Deborah Mak, Assistant Cultural Attaché at the US Embassy Bangkok, who also spoke about opportunities to study in the United States.
