Abdulaziz reflects on the highlights from serving as a mentor for CEW.
On June 18, 2013, approximately fifty YES alumni from Jordan volunteered at the SOS Village, an orphanage, in Irbid, Jordan to celebrate the YES program's 10th anniversary. The alumni organized activities that were both educational and entertaining for around 100 orphans between the ages of three and fifteen. The alumni played sports, face painted, drew, and read stories with the kids. Every orphan was also given a book donated by the US embassy in an effort to build the orphanage's library. These alumni were participating in an important part of the YES program, giving back to their home countries.
