YES Alumni Nasser AL Balushi, Moosa Al Lawati, Maitha Al Harrasi, and Kulthoom Al Khimyasi donated their time during the holy month of Ramadan, to help an NGO called Dar Al Attaa (the House of Giving) collect money and donations. Dar Al Attaa is Oman’s premier charity organization that aims to help the underprivileged throughout the country. Dar Al Atta has managed to help thousands of underprivileged families; projects vary from new home construction (40 homes to date), to school supply distribution to over 16,000 students.

Throughout the month of Ramadan, YES Alumni collected donations for the following causes:

• Breakfast Program (Iftar Sa'im): Donations fed underpriviledged families during the month of Ramadan
• Eid Care Program (Kiswat ak Eid): Donations provided clothes and rations to the poor.
• Charity Program (Sadaqa): Donations went to family care and empowerment for those caring for individuals with special disabilities.
