Alumni from various parts of Morocco gather to discuss programming and projects!

Alumni joined together during a three-day event to brainstorm effective ways of sustaining the productivity of the association for future alumni members. Many brought with them a plethora of different creative plans, interests and ideas. Each participant had an opportunity to share their accomplishments, which added to the association’s vast experiences. The diversity of the group was highly noticeable, with all members showing the character traits of true leaders for YES alumni in Morocco.

Representatives from the Embassy in Morocco were on hand to provide information and support as to how alumni would be able to implement community services projects and leadership development. With alumni present from different parts of the country, the execution of their ideas could impact all citizens for Morocco. Of course, there would be challenges, but it was nice for the group to feel wholly supported by their fellow YES alumni, program staff and embassy officials!

The three-day event focused on connecting, cooperating and problem solving between each alumni community. Regional chapters were formed and will report on activities. A new website for YES alumni activities in Morocco will also be created in the near future. Such tasks will only add to alumni successes!
