YES students hosted in Arkansas had a chance to meet Governor Mike Beebe recently during an activity focused on US government. The students started the day with a tour of the capitol, sat in the gallery during both a House and Senate session and were recognized by both branches. They then were able to meet with the Parliamentarian who did a good job of explaining just what happens when a state’s legislature meets.
