In honor of World AIDS Day, on December 1, 2011, YES Alumni Macedonia organized several activities to raise awareness and to teach about prevention. This year, the activities started on December 1st. Several YES Alumni and volunteers came to the Orphanage in Butel, Skopje to make Red Ribbons which later on were displayed at the Orphanage for all to take and wear on December 1st as symbols of support and love for people affected with AIDS. The same day event was dedicated to educating and raising AIDS awareness among the children in the Orphanage.
