YES alumni in Jordan supported the EducationUSA fair.
Proposals for two grant opportunities are now being accepted from eligible alumni of the YES and YES Abroad programs. These grants are funded by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and administered by American Councils for International Education.
Grants of up to $3,000 are available to enable alumni to contribute to their communities through projects in areas such as:
Grant projects may begin after July 1, 2024 and must be completed by February 28, 2025.
The YES Alumni Professional Development and Travel Grants program offers grants of up to $250 to support YES and YES Abroad alumni participation in professional development opportunities to develop skills and talents they can bring back to their home communities and alumni networks and/or that will further their knowledge in their current career or field of study. Proposals that include a plan for sharing what was learned from the opportunity with fellow alumni or the local community will receive preferential consideration.

Proposals are being accepted now for the winter cycle of this grants program. Fundable opportunities may begin after the date of proposal submission and must be completed by May 31, 2024. The application for the Spring cycle of the Professional Development and Travel Grants program will be open in April 2024.
