YES Alumni in Liberia conducted their first workshop in Liberia. Alumni established a network of health clubs in 10 high schools within Monrovia. Their goal was to help create awareness about environmental cleanliness and good health practices through student involvement. The workshops targeted three participants from each school who then serve as a Health Ambassadors in their respective school. They anticipate that the club will be sustained through collaboration with other institutions such as, the Red Cross and other health partners.They also plan to solicit support for the creation of garbage disposal means and maintainence of student restroom hygiene for each health club.

In addition, Alumni had the opportunity to share their exchange experience and the importance of having a health school environment.
