The U.S. Ambassador to Jordan, Stuart E. Jones, joined more than 100 enthusiastic youth volunteers, on Saturday 15th of June, 2013, for a tree planting community service project in Wadi Qattar.  The event kicked off 10,000 Trees Campaign in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program.

The eco-friendly project involved YES alumni, their friends, and members from the local community.  Husam Shaltoni, YES Alum ’07 said, “It was a marvelous event. Our efforts combined made the idea a reality! We have, literally, changed part of the world! Happy 10th anniversary to the YES Program!”
